Dr. Stewart Mason BSc BVetMed

Veterinarian
Dr. Stewey studied a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in the UK before moving to Australia in 2003 with his wife Dr. Pip! 
He wanted to be a vet because he admired the biology of animals, was fascinated by their diversity, wanted to improve their wellbeing and was also up for a challenge! 
Dr. Stewey has a special interest in surgery and internal medicine and his personal interests include running (Ultra marathons that involve travel are his favourite), keeping fit, reading & looking after his 3 children; Henry, Elspeth and Bella. 
His favourite part of working for Paws Galore is the satisfaction of seeing a happy pet walk out of the clinic after successful treatment, particularly if the case was challenging.

Dr. Philippa Mason BVetMed​​

Veterinarian
Dr. Pip studied a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine in the UK before moving Australia in 2003 with Dr Stewey! 
She wanted to be a vet because she always loved animals and never wanted to be anything else! 
Her personal interests include horse riding particularly re-educating Standardbreds especially as they don't often get the best life after racing. She also enjoys Horseback Archery, reading, having fun with her 3 children; Henry, Elspeth and Bella, and looking after the growing menagerie which includes 1 ancient rescue dog Darcy, 5 cats; Eric, Pepita, Percy, Hecate & Arwen (which are all rescues), 1 rabbit Storm (also rescued), 1 fish and 3 horses; Strider, Edoras (knackery special) and Fergus!
Dr. Pip has a special interest in Neurology as well as rabbit and feline medicine.

Michelle Gammon

Veterinary Nurse
Michelle is a qualified Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse with 14 years experience and with 10 of those years in emergency nursing. 
Her love of animals and her desire to help with the well-being of pets inspired her career in veterinary nursing.
She loves all aspects of nursing with a special interest in emergency nursing but especially enjoys hand rearing kittens for our adoption program. 
Her pets include Lilli an RSPCA rescued Staffy cross and 5 rescue cats, Gary (her first ever hand reared kitten), Astro, Ollie, Mierlo and Neila.
Michelle's hobbies include reading, music concerts, movies and looking after her two children Alina and Aidan.
Her favourite part of working at Paws Galore is working with a great group of like minded people in a fun environment.

Jessica Inwood

Veterinary Nurse
Jess has studied a Certificate II in Animal Studies, Certificate II in Stable Hand and currently completing Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
She has always had a love for animals and in high school she decided she wanted to learn how to help them from a medical point of view. Her special interest is surgical nursing, hand rearing baby animals and running the adoption program with our other nurse Jess LaPia.
Her pets include 3 Kelpies; Puppet, Roxy & Chester, 2 Horses; Banjo & Twiggy, 3 cats; Plus, Cady & Kiah, 5 birds and a Fish.
Her personal interests and hobbies include camping, fishing, snorkelling, 4WDing, horse riding & general exploring
Her favourite part of working for Paws Galore is the team she works with, she says having such a positive and fun bunch of people to work with makes the job even more worth while.

Jessica LaPia

Veterinary Nurse
Jess is currently completing Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, she has a Diploma in Equine Performance Management & is a qualified Horse Riding Instructor with Horse Safety SA.
She wanted to be a vet nurse because of her love for animals and wanted a rewarding career working with them every day. Her special interest is emergency nursing and hopes to study equine nursing one day. She also loves hand rearing kittens and runs our adoption program with our other nurse, Jess Inwood.
Her pets include a Siberian Husky Diezel, a horse Finland and a cat Poppy whom she adopted through our adoption program.
Her personal interests and hobbies include horse riding, particularly competitive dressage, camping and being outdoors. 
Her favourite part of working for Paws Galore is the diversity of cases we get to deal with on a daily basis as well as the great team environment.

Brooke Powell

Veterinary Nurse
Brooke has completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies, Certificate II in Racing (Stable Hand) and has almost completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Brooke wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse because of her passion for animals and their welfare. Her special interest lies in critical care nursing.
She has a large family of pets including 6 cats; Skyler, Hazel, Charka, Luna, Azazel and Katie-Kat (most of which are rescues through our adoption program)!, 
2 horses; Yorkshire & Chezamere and a lizard called Walter.
Her personal interests include horse riding and kick boxing/Muai Thai.
Her favourite part of working Paws Galore is working in such a large well equipped clinic in a great team environment.

Paws

Clinic Cat
Paws has no known qualifications however she is very good at overseeing the running of the clinic from her cat scratch tower and if you are lucky enough she may even come over for a pat! 
She enjoys being a clinic cat because she gets to do whatever she wants, when she wants and how she wants. Her special interests and hobbies include sleeping, eating and sitting in the mailing box (as pictured).
